Seed Harvest Spoon is run by a team of highly skilled and passionate professionals whose experience and expertise includes: early childhood and primary school education; adult education; education program development and delivery; health education; Permaculture design & education; community development and engagement; research; project management and business administration.

Our Board
Seed Harvest Spoon is managed by a board of Directors, meeting quarterly to provide advice and guidance on the direction and growth of the organisation. Our Board includes business professionals, with significant experience in management and administration, working alongside education professionals who are highly experienced in developing, implementing and managing education programs.

Wilma Murdoch – Chair
Wilma is currently a University Lecturer in Early Childhood Education, with extensive experience leading learning and development across NFP children’s services as well as for a private provider. She has worked with government, managing funded programs and delivering contracts based on the training needs of the children’s services sector. Wilma has also worked on education and health with children and families projects in India.

Michael McConnell – Treasurer
Michael is a Civil Engineer with 35 years of project, development and property management experience and has strong management experience in the areas of legal, finance, governance & risk and strategy. He has directed medium sized teams, so is across HR and remuneration issues. As a recent Graduate of the AICD Directors Course Michael adds value to our Board in general governance areas.

John Bligh – Secretary
John has had a career of senior executive leadership in technology services organizations like IBM and Accenture within Australia and across the Asia Pacific region. He has also led major business change projects for large organizations and was Interim CEO at ASIC during the Global Financial Crisis. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is on several advisory Boards including the Banksia Project and the Bright Programme for entrepreneurship while providing volunteer services to Oz-Harvest. He has a passion for the importance of teaching children about good nutrition and a sustainable environment when they are young so that they will grow to maximize their life potential and be advocates for preservation of our planet.

Bree Velluti – Executive Board Director
Co-founder & Program Manager – Seed Harvest Spoon
Raised in the retail and wholesale Fruit and Vegetable industry of Sydney, Bree and her husband John own and run Velluti’s – The Fruit & Veg Company, specialist providores to Sydney restaurants, cafes & caterers. They more recently took ownership of iconic Frank’s Fruit Market in Haberfield. Bree is passionate about the next generation having connection with where their food comes from and understanding how it is produced.
