Early Childhood Programs and Workshops
Seed Harvest Spoon offers specialised environmental education workshops for early childhood services. Our highly experienced educators are dedicated to building ecological knowledge and awareness within a child centred learning environment. Our workshops are hands-on, interactive and high quality. Through our workshops we aim to inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation of the natural world.
All of our workshops integrate and deliver on the Early Years Learning Framework objectives with workshop content specifically tailored to the learning development needs and interests of young children.
FOCUS PROGRAM: Let’s Get Our Garden Started Early Childhood Program
Customised program to establish or revitalise an edible, native or habitat garden, compost or worm farm, incorporating outdoor learning, nature care, nature play, sustainable systems and practices into centre operations and programming. Includes:
- 3 x 1 hour facilitator led session for children and staff
- 1 x 1 hour professional learning/eco therapy session for staff
- Session materials, excluding soil and infrastructure
